An optional quick video call. It's your chance to get to know us, talk through what you're picturing for your day, and hear exactly how we'd help serve it. The easiest way to feel completely sure we're the right fit before you lock in, with no pressure or hard sell at all! :)
Lock in your date
Sign a plain-English agreement and pay a 50% deposit, and your date is locked in. We'll reconnect closer to your date for another video call to iron out the finer details, like your timeline, locations and the moments that matter most!

Your questions, answered.
Do you offer payment plans? Can we pay it off over time?
Yes! $750 secures your date, then we split the rest into easy monthly payments over the months leading up to your wedding, wrapping up about a month before the day. A 15% fee applies for spreading it out, and we set up the automatic payments with you so it's completely hands-off. Just let us know and we'll build a plan that suits you.
Honestly, we're not really "photo people". Is that a problem?
Not at all, this is what we do all day! Most of our couples say the exact same thing. We shoot documentary-style, so you're not stuck posing for hours. We'll give you gentle direction when you want it and otherwise let the day unfold, and you'll be surprised how natural it feels, even if cameras make you nervous right now.
Why should we choose Selah over other wedding photographers?
A few things, really! First, we care a lot about quality. Every photo and film is edited to the same high, timeless standard, in true-to-life colour that won't look dated in a few years. We also shoot real Super 8 and 35mm film, which most photographers don't offer, for a warmth and grain you just can't fake. And just as much, it comes down to how we treat you: we're relaxed, respectful and genuinely invested in your day going well, not just in getting the shot. You'll feel at ease the whole way through, even if cameras make you nervous. (And if you ever want photo, video and film together, that's all one team in one style, so nothing clashes.)
What if our photographer gets sick or has an emergency?
That's honestly the beauty of working with a team. Your coverage is provided by Selah, not one single person, so if your shooter can't make it (illness, injury, or an emergency), we'll always have another experienced Selah shooter ready to jump in at the same standard or higher. Every one of us works in the same style, and your editor stays the same no matter who shoots, so your photos and film always come back looking exactly like Selah. You're never left without coverage.
What if our day runs a little longer than we booked?
No stress, we're pretty relaxed about it and we'll never pack up in the middle of something special. If it's looking like your day needs a bit more time, extra coverage is easy to add on at $450 an hour, and we'll always check in with you first so there are never any surprises.
What happens if it rains?
We shoot rain or shine, and honestly some of the most beautiful, emotional photos happen in the weather. We'll always have a plan B for portraits, and we'll never let a bit of rain stress you out on the day. You've got enough to think about!
